A DE&I oriented strategic Talent Acquisition/Resourcing leader with experience reporting directly into C-Suite in growth organisations. My scope of strategy is usually 3-5 years. Currently seeking senior level appointments at growth organisations and board level engagement.

VP, global Talent acquisition @ LMAX Group ($1b PE BAcked Capital markets org), London

March 2022 - Present | Following a valuation of $1b and a $300m PE raise (JC Flowers), I came into LMAX Group to set up a Talent Acquisition team to support the core LMAX brands (LMAX Exchange, LMAX Global & LMAX Digital) globally. This has resulted in rapid growth of the company and LMAX subsidiaries (250%+ within 2 years). Reporting into the Chief People Officer, I continue to lead, grow and develop the TA team at LMAX. I have also been certified and taken a step towards Talent Management & Succession Planning. The function has a global remit predominantly focusing on the UK, USA, Singapore, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Cyprus and Gibraltar. Here, I have also launched a successful Early Careers program consisting of graduate and apprentice hires across the organisation.
Strategic outlook: 3-5 years with sustainable rapid growth. Budget owned: $1.2m. Savings in first 6 months: £0.8m on agency usage (circa £1.4m per annum).

sage GROUP, Talent Acquisition, heading up IT and Security hiring for UK&I (Interim)

October 2019 - April 2021

Following an investment of £60m, I oversaw the recruitment of 50-60 FTE heads in the IT, Security and Business Operations functions during a 6 month interim contract. This project will help facilitate a new Centre ofExcellence for Sage consolidating 24 technical estates into 2. Main stake holders are the Chief Technology Officer, EVP of IT, VP of Architecture, VP of Business Operations and VP Product Security. This includes both strategy and delivery for the resourcing project. After the end of the initial 6 month contract, I was extended twice to run the hiring for IT across the UKI Group.

nationwide building society, resourcing SENIor manager / head of technical talent acquisition (Interim)

August 2018 - May 2019

Following an announcement of over £4 billion and over £1.3 billion being dedicated to tech transformation, I was brought in as an interim resource to head up, strategise and deliver to three communities (Engineering, Architecture and Simplification & Automation). The building society’s objective was to build on the internal technical teams and have less of a dependency on external suppliers. With the requirement of hiring of 1000+ net new roles, I oversaw the hiring of over 300+ heads in a year with salaries ranging from £60,000 to £200,000. Here I have helped build entire new Senior Enterprise Architecture functions, hired Heads of functions at the senior executive level and improved on existing processes. I also worked alongside KPMG and IBM on demand planning exercises.

Zipcar (an avis budget group acquired startup), head of Talent acquisition - Rehire post change (interim)

March 2017 - September 2017

Zipcar is a startup acquired by the AVIS Budget Group. Following a transformation project after a relocation from Wimbledon to Bracknell I headed up the re-upscaling of all the functions. I got involved with HR Consultations,Direct Sourcing and Strategy. They required someone that could deal with candidates and stakeholders at various levels of the organization simultaneously. The roles recruited for panned across various disciplines inlcuding tech, finance, accounts, HR, customer services, sales and more. I received an award from the CEO of AVIS for achieving circa 80 hires in just 6 months.

Prudential assurance, recruitment business partner (interim)

August 2016 - November 2016

Interim recruitment business partner covering the Operations IT and Digital business units. With Prudential having recently invested in a new Digital Innovation Lab and an intense recruitment drive in the digital sector, my role was to prioritize direct sourcing, top level stakeholder management and work efficiently as per the company’s values. I also trained and brought up to speed my permanent replacement. Roles here included developers, database specialists, leadership positions and more. Lowest direct hire numbers in the company achieved – traditional direct sourcing methods applied. Stakeholders highly pleased: reference can be provided from manager.

Intersystems corporation, senior corporate recruitment partner (interim)

January 2016 - June 2016

Intersystems is an IT product company with a range of products and solutions for the UK Healthcare sector and is the leader holding the majority of the market in Scotland, Wales and England. With the success they have had in winning business, I was put in charge of all technical recruitment for the UK however I did more than just that. Roles outside the technical realm included Sales Managers, HR Co-coordinators, Physician Executives, Solutions Architects and more in Chile, Brazil and Germany. In my 5 months here I closed all UK technical requisitions which consisted of 12 specialist positions and the most rigorous testing process which only allowed us to get candidates on or above the 95th percentile (please note: I also underwent the same tests and got hired at Intersystems).

Contracted and brought into to architect a “cloud” area of the business. This involved starting a market from scratch and a heavy focus on Solution Architecture, Pre-sales and Solutions Consultants. The role also explored areas of Program Management, and other senior appointments due to my previous experience as a strategic hiring partner at Wipro Technologies. I built a new market, pulled roles and a strategy was set up during my time there with various avenues for new business.
